Celebrating 400 Simple Western Publications

We're celebrating our 400th publication using Simple Western technology and it is out of this world! See how researchers at Loma Linda University, California, used Wes to study the effects of reduced gravity conditions on cardiovascular progenitor cells (CPCs) by shipping them aboard the SpaceX CRS-11 to the United States National Laboratory on the ISS, followed by postflight analysis with Wes. This research aims to overcome the shortcomings of current clinical trials involving the use of CPCs for cardiac repair. Understanding the signaling response and the effects of microgravity on CPCs provides insight into signaling pathways that control stem cell fate and the regenerative potential of CPCs.

Meet Wes: The Simple Western Complete Solution that Streamlines Protein Separation and Detection

Meet Wes

Wes™ is an automated capillary-based system that solves many of the challenges that come with traditional Western blotting protocols. All assay steps from protein separation, immunoprobing, detection and analysis of data are fully automated. Wes runs up to 25 samples in 3 hours and gives you quantitative, size-based data, including total protein for normalization. Watch our short video to see the step by step process, from sample loading to signal detection.
